1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hey URL (the "Service"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Hey URL provides a free URL shortening service, bulk link management, detailed click analytics, and a QR code generator. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Hey URL only for lawful purposes. You must NOT use our Service to:

• Shorten URLs that lead to phishing, malware, ransomware, or other malicious content
• Distribute spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk advertising
• Link to content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or promotes violence
• Circumvent geo-restrictions or evade content moderation systems
• Impersonate other individuals, organisations, or services
• Violate the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Use the Service for any automated or high-volume abuse that degrades service quality
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the security of Hey URL

4. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorised or not.
• You must notify us immediately at support@hey-url.me if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering.

5. Link Monitoring and Removal

Hey URL reserves the right — but is not obligated — to review, monitor, and remove any shortened URL at our discretion, including but not limited to:

• URLs flagged by Google Safe Browsing or other security services
• URLs reported by users or third parties as abusive
• URLs detected by our automated monitoring systems as harmful

Removed links will redirect to a notice page explaining why the link was disabled. We will cooperate fully with any valid legal request to disclose information about abusive link creators.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology on Hey URL is the intellectual property of Hey URL and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of any original URLs and content you submit.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Hey URL does not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
• Permanent availability of shortened links
• Accuracy of analytics data

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hey URL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@hey-url.me.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Your continued use of Hey URL after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
